The Northern Gate of Fairy Town has a dramatic character. The Danube has just broken out from the rocks of Pilis hills, which once before times was a real duel between them, nearly ended with death. Here are again two hills, younger brothers of Pilis: the Castle hill and the Gellért hill behind it. The Royal Castle and its counterpart on the Pest side, the Ghotic House (as Ferenc Herczeg named the giant Parliament) are just like two fortresses protecting the gateway. And the Big River respects their rules and behaves among the stoned riverbanks.

The proportions of the photograph are 3:1.
